Oak chips American American oak chips add a more vanilla-like taste to your wine. Medium toasted chips can add almond and caramel flavour and are mainly used in light wines. Heavy toasted chips produce a more nutty and roasted flavour to wines and are mainly used in heavy and full-bodied wines. Dosage: 5-30 g/10 l wine. Contact time: a few days to 3 months. Can be added to the must or wine (or beer!).
